What is National Accounts Statistics?

National Accounts Division comprises Business Survey Unit and National Income Unit. Business Survey conducts an Annual Survey of Business Establishments encompassing every industry in Trinidad and Tobago. One of the main functions of this unit is the maintenance of a register of all Business Establishments in Trinidad and Tobago.

National Income Unit measures the economic activities of all industries in Trinidad and Tobago. This Unit produces and publishes the Consolidated Accounts of the Nation which includes the Gross Domestic Product, Capital Formation and the Public Sector Accounts.
